Platforms

The platforms CreatorHyve publishes to, how they connect, and their limits.

This table is generated from the same lists the app uses, so a platform appears here as soon as it is available to users.

Connecting

OAuth platforms open the platform's own sign-in. The others use a credential you paste into the connect dialog:

  • Bluesky: your handle and an app password (not your account password).
  • Mastodon: your server name and an access token with read and write scopes.
  • Telegram: a bot token; the bot must be an admin of the channel.
  • Discord: a channel webhook URL.
  • Dev.to: an API key. WordPress: an application password on an https site. Hashnode: a personal access token for a Pro blog (Hashnode limits its API to Pro).

Credentials are encrypted at rest and never returned by the API.

Notes

  • "Text limit" is the length the platform allows for a post; blog platforms take full articles.
  • Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest cannot publish text-only: attach media.
  • Facebook, Instagram and Threads connections are open to everyone once Meta's app review finishes; until then only people with a role on the Meta app can connect them.
