# Claude.ai and Claude Desktop

Connect Claude with a sign-in, no API key needed.

Claude.ai and Claude Desktop connect to remote MCP servers as **custom connectors** and sign in with OAuth.

1. Open Claude's connector settings (Settings, then Connectors; the menu names change between versions) and choose to add a custom connector.
2. Enter the server address: `https://creatorhyve.com/api/mcp`
3. Claude opens a CreatorHyve page. Sign in if asked, check the permissions and press **Allow**.
4. Start a chat and enable the connector for it.

You can see and remove the connection under **Settings, then Developer, then AI assistants** in CreatorHyve. Removing it ends the assistant's access at once.

If Claude reports that it cannot connect, the usual cause is a plan without API access. The consent page says so when that is the case.
