# CreatorHyve developer documentation

Schedule posts, upload media, read results and analytics, receive webhooks, and connect AI assistants to CreatorHyve.

CreatorHyve schedules and publishes posts and blog articles to the platforms you connect. Everything you can do in the dashboard for scheduling is also available to your own code and to AI assistants.

## What you can build

- **A REST API** to list accounts, upload media, create and schedule posts, read per-platform results and analytics. Start with the [quickstart](/docs/quickstart).
- **Webhooks** that tell your server when a post goes live or fails. See [webhooks](/docs/webhooks).
- **An MCP server** so Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other assistants can schedule posts for you. See [MCP](/docs/mcp).

## How it fits together

1. You connect social accounts in the dashboard (Integrations). Credentials stay with CreatorHyve; the API never returns tokens.
2. You create an API key with only the permissions it needs (Settings, Developer).
3. Your code or assistant creates a post with a list of platforms and, optionally, a time. CreatorHyve publishes at that time and records the result per platform.

## Good to know

- The API and MCP server are part of the Scale plan. Scheduling needs an active paid plan.
- Everything is JSON over HTTPS. The base URL is `https://creatorhyve.com/api/v1/developer`.
- A machine-readable description is available as [OpenAPI 3.1](/api/v1/developer/openapi.json). AI agents can start from [llms.txt](/llms.txt) or add `/docs/raw/<page>` to read any page as Markdown.
